Anheuser-Busch to launch redesigned bottle

Today Anheuser-Busch announced the launch of their new bud platinum in Las Vegas, This beer while not new (in fact it was Americas most popular beer of 2012), will be available in their new aluminium resealable bottle. This bottle design will soon launch across Anheuser-Busch entire product line, which i’m sure you know includes that headache in a bottle Budweiser.

We hand-picked Bud Light Platinum to launch our company’s first reclosable aluminum bottle because of our confidence in the beer,” said Rob McCarthy, vice president of Bud Light. “Platinum has been able to elevate the premium light beer category with its blend of image and flavor, and we believe it will do the same to for the perception of aluminum bottles.”

This new design will feature a screw cap which will allow those incapable of using a bottle opener easy access to their beer. This new design is not just about tool less entry though because aluminium is a lot stronger than glass and should allow the contents to get colder quicker, due to Aluminium better cold conduction.

The new reclosable bottle continues our long tradition of innovative packaging that delivers the freshest, coldest, best-tasting beer possible,” said Pat McGauley, vice president of innovation for Anheuser-Busch.

The Bud Light Platinum resealable aluminum bottle will launch across all of america later this year.
