Sharps brewery have released figures that show their flagship beer, Doom Bark, Is now the number one cask beer in the UK. Doom Bar got to the top spot thanks to a staggering growth rate of 45% over the last three years.
Emma Bebbington, general manager at Sharp’s Brewery, said: “Doom Bar’s consistent growth has allowed us to invest in the brewery, expanding and improving our brewing operations through our recent success. We unveiled a new temperature-controlled warehouse at the end of April which will help us to ensure that our beers arrive in trade and reach the consumer in optimum condition. Projects like this stand us in good stead to maintain strong growth and keep developing our broad portfolio of award-winning, cask-conditioned beers.”
