Entries are still open for the Dublin craft beer festival but you better hurry as entries close this Thursday, This competition will see beer go up against beer to see who will reign supreme. The judging will take into account 7 category (the catagories were not available at present) as local beers go head to head with the best and brightest from across the globe.
Sarah Lahert, of organiser Alltech, said: “The competition presents a fantastic platform for these breweries to increase the profile of their beer among a competitive commercial market and is also an excellent opportunity to build brand recognition within the industry. Beers will be analysed by a panel of leading industry judges over two days.”
The judges will be: Prof Frank Vriesekoop, Harper-Adams University/University of Ballarat; Prof Graham Stewart, Heriot-Watt University; Gerry McGovern, Guinness (retired); Dr Eddie Burke, Diageo; Karl Oakert, Master Brewers Association of the Americas; and Tim O’Rourke, Institute of Brewing and Distilling/Beer Academy.
