Shia la bluff – grade A knobhead

has Shia la bluff (yes, i deliberately spelt that wrong) ever made a good film, i mean he was in all three transformers films, which were high on action but low on story and were in no way intelligent, i mean am i really suppose to believe that those women would date him, i mean seriously i can believe in giant transforming robots but that’s too far, this coupled with the coma inducing Wall street money never sleeps and i still have nightmares after what happened to Indiana Jones but apparently that was all meant to change with his new short film, this film was so good that it was accepted to the Cannes film festival and was receiving rave reviews from reviewers. well it turns out he still hasn’t made a good film because its an unashamed knock off.
well shia was forced to deliver a grovelling apology after it was discovered that he lifted the story for his latest film from comic book author Daniel Clowes.
Writing on Twitter, Shia – who has previously admitted to taking acid for a film role – said: “Copying isn’t particularly creative work. Being inspired by someone else’s idea to produce something new and different IS creative work.
“In my excitement and naiveté as an amateur filmmaker, I got lost in the creative process and neglected to follow proper accreditation. I’m embarrassed that I failed to credit Daniel Clowes for his original graphic novella Justin M Damiano, which served as my inspiration.
“I was truly moved by his piece of work and I knew that it would make a poignant and relevant short. I apologise to all who assumed I wrote it.
“I deeply regret the manner in which these events have unfolded and want Daniel Clowes to know that I have a great respect for his work. I f**ked up.”
After being informed of Shia’s work, Clowe told Buzzfeed: “The first I ever heard of the film was this morning when someone sent me a link. I’ve never spoken to or met Mr LaBeouf.
“I’ve never even seen one of his films that I can recall – and I was shocked, to say the least, when I saw that he took the script and even many of the visuals from a very personal story I did six or seven years ago and passed it off as his own work. I actually can’t imagine what was going through his mind.”
well there we have it, he apologized after he was caught, i wonder if he would have been so gracious if it was never discovered, something tells me no.
