Day 17: Merlyn

during a recent romantic get away with the better half we went to north Wales and during one of our many walks through that truly beautiful country we happened on a nice little shop that actually sold local beers. believe me, that was a bit of a miracle in a part of the world usually accustomed to tourists. Merlyn was 4.9% ABV that came in a brown 500ML bottle. it was golden brown and flat in the glass with no carbonation and absolutely no head to speak of, at first this beer was promising with toffee on the nose but sadly it delivered nothing on the palate, absolutely nothing. I have no idea where this can be bought outside of wales but if you ever find yourself exploring the many castles of this country avoid this beer.
