Another day and another beer here at hailing the ale and after our merry jaunt head first into sour that was quake quencher yesterday we take a look at a more humble affair and a far superior affair. It was Black in colours with a large white frothy head. It just looks so creamy and inviting. On the nose it presents with all manner of lovely smells, we get a wonderful malty smell, along with hops and a hint of chocolate. Consider this a malteaser in beer form. On the tongue it was a initial hit and full flavoured malt followed ever so slightly by a delicate overtone of chocolate. The only downside to this beer is it not really sessionable, drink it once enjoy the flavour but the second beer is slightly lacking in the same punch.
