Day 55: nomad clan by northern monk

So my Saturday turned in to Sunday and with that its time to return to work for me and shock horror I’m getting over this fact with a beer. Today I take another look at a beer from northern monk and this is one of their special patron collection. Comes in a 500ml can with a middle of the road APV of 6.8%. This double hopped ipa was so hazy it would glow in the dark given enough time. Very lively with a four finger head that slowly turned to a 2 finger head that held the course with this beer. You really get a citra hop smell with this beer. Multi layered hops on the tongue with full bodied hoppy. Despite it being double dry hopped this is not as over powering as many others. This is why I like northern monk IPAS, they seem to get the simple fact that it’s not all about big bitter flavours and a good ipa is far more nuanced and delicate of flavour. Another fantastic ipa from northern monk.
