So Today’s beer is an interesting mix of styles both of which have their origins in the British empire and the jewel in that crown India. Despite being a Brit this is where I admit my deep dark secret, I don’t like tea. Never have and can’t see much that will change my mind. This beer comes in a 330ml bottle with an APV of 6.5%. Cloudy yellow in the glass with the tiniest whiff of head and bubbles. This doesn’t smell appetising, it hits the nose with both citrus and tea at the same time. Makes this beer smell rather off-putting. After that aroma, this is a surprisingly delicate beer in the mouth with very little citrus being the only main flavour. What with citrus being the only real flavour and a generally strange feeling in the mouth I can’t recommend this beer. I know that final statement is somewhat ambiguous but I all I can say is this has a very strange feeling in the mouth. In my opinion, there are far better beers from the beastie boys and this is one to avoid.
