So recently went on a trip to Leeds with some friends. You would have probably noticed how many of the beers recently have been from Leeds. This one is made by northern monk, a brewery that came to my attention last year after another trip to Leeds. This beer comes in a 330ml can with an APV of 4.1% and can be found in Morrisons nation wide. Golden opaque in the glass with a voluminous two finger white head. Hops and citrus on the nose with slight bitterness in the mouth. This is not a complicated beer and that slight bitterness is all you get. I’m going to take this as it is, this is a beer designed for a supermarket audience and is perfectly tailored to that. This won’t hurt their sensibilities but may offer them an interesting change of pace. For me though this is a very ordinary beer.
