Day 81: beyond the pale ipa by Stevens point brewery

So today we take a look at another ipa, this always seem to happen during this time of year in that i always gravitate towards more lighter happier beers. This has nothing to do with the facts that I’m spending a lot of time sitting in the sun I’m sure. This comes in a 355ml with a middle of the road 5.7% APV. This beer was brewed and canned in America and somehow made it to my glass here in Liverpool. It exploded from the can all my self, was toffee and caramel in colour with no head at all. Nothing from the aroma and a general off taste in the mouth making this a rather off putting beer to drink. I almost suspected that the beer was off but it wasn’t so off putting that I couldn’t drink it. It just wasn’t pleasant to drink, its the old adage that theirs far greater beers out there people so avoid this one.
