Day 82: downstream token by Boyne brew house

Today we cross the water to the Emerald Isle and I’m rather a shamed to admit that Irish beer is a huge black hole for me. I mean don’t get me wrong I’ve had the big names but nothing from their smaller craft brewers. That’s about to change with this session ipa, it came in a 330ml can with an APV 4%. It has the colour of apple juice in the glass with a tiny sliver of white head. Lovely and inviting aroma and a nuanced hoppy flavour in the mouth. This is a great session IPA, I could honestly see myself drinking this all day in the beer garden.
