This American pale ale from polly brew comes in a 440ml can with an APV of 6.8%. It was golden in colour with a single finger white head. It was a lovely little bugger with lots of carbonation and plenty of hoppy goodness on the nose. Fickle presents as an average pale ale with hoppy bitterness on the tongues that disappears quickly. I’m struggling to find new things to say here but this is a solid American pale but lacks any real depth of flavour or anything to differentiate it from the pack.
Today’s song of choice is perfect day by Lou Reed. Despite what many would have you believe this song is not about spending the day with someone you love but in fact it’s about heroin and that’s a sad state of affairs about one of the greatest songs ever.
