Day 160: Brooklyn summer ale

Spoke beer just deserve to be drank during certain times of the year. Yeah I know you can’t call yourself a seasoned drinker unless you drink stouts in the middle of summer but there’s something fantastic about a nice pale in the summer months. So true to form I drank this beer during an in seasonable cold snap. It came in a 335ml van with an APV of 5% in a can designed to invoke thoughts of summer. It was Yellow and lively in colour with the smallest silver of head. A Quite inviting aroma with a slightly hoppy hit. That slight of hint is also present on the tongue but doesn’t linger too long thankfully. A quite refreshing beer that I’d happily have again in the summer. Doesn’t knock your socks off but doesn’t disappoint either.
